From September 20th, every Wednesday night will see The Urban Standard on Gloucester Road offering a weekly mac ‘n’ cheese menu, paying homage to the fromage.
The Mid-Week Mac nights will see head chef Jasper creating a menu featuring numerous mac ‘n’ cheese varieties. The team at The Urban Standard have always respected mac ‘n’ cheese as a main dish, and wanted to shine a spotlight on one of the nation’s favourite comfort foods…and they’re doing it in style.
As well as their signature Dirty Mac ‘n’ Cheese, they’ll be offering flavour combinations such as Beef & Blue and Chimichurri Sweet Potato and Shrimp mac ‘n’ cheese, among others. There’ll even be a Mac ‘n’ Cheese Burger for another twist on the classic favourite…

To celebrate the launch of Mid-Week Mac, Urban Standard will be hosting the cheesiest launch party the city has ever seen on Wednesday, September 20th. From 7.30pm, you’ll be able to enjoy an evening exclusively dedicated to the new menu, a selection of spirits, cocktails and The Standard’s own IPA, plus a DJ playing nonstop cheesy hits.
