Hot on the heels of the opening of their new shop on Gloucester Road in August, Hobbs House Bakery will be adding a second Bristol bakery in September.
Opening at number 217 North Street in Southville, the new bakery will be turning out the team’s popular loaves – including their sourdough made with a 62-year old starter – along with a huge selection of cakes, pastries and more. There’ll also be a cafĂ© in the new premises, serving breakfasts, lunches and hot and cold drinks.
It’ll be the sixth premises for Hobbs House, who already have shops in Chipping Sodbury, Nailsworth, Tetbury, Malmesbury and on Gloucester Road. Their location on North Street is an interesting choice, with Mark’s Bread just a short walk down the road – but we’re excited about the new addition to Southville’s already impressive foodie credentials!
