The new Vintage Cider from Thatchers has now arrived! Pressed, blended and bottled at Myrtle Farm, just outside Bristol, the 2016 Vintage Cider uses bittersweet apples from the previous year’s harvest.
It’s a classic cider, matured in oak vats, that’s got plenty of depth of flavour yet a light colour: a rich, medium dry 7.4% cider from the fourth generation cider maker that has a crisp sparkle.
With the new vintage comes a new label, focusing on the authentic family story of Thatchers. The cider maker’s founder, William, can be seen on the neck label.
The RRP of the new Thatchers Vintage is £1.80 for a 500ml bottle – you’ll find it nationally in Asda, Co-Op, Morrisons, Sainsbury’s and Tesco, among other retailers. It’s also available locally from the Thatchers Cider Shop, as well as online at www.thatcherscider.co.uk.
