It’s nearly time for the launch of the new weekly Finzels Reach market, which will specialise in fantastic local street food.
Opening at lunchtime this Friday (5 May), from 12pm to 2pm, the new market takes place on Old Temple Street, at the heart of the new Finzels Reach development opposite Castle Park.
The market launches with 13 street food traders and live music from the Barry Walsh Band. It was Barry Walsh who was the successful winner of naming the new bridge at Finzels Reach – now called Castle Bridge.
The market will showcase some the South West’s most exciting street food traders, and organisers CASUS Events have seen overwhelming demand from operators wanting to get involved.
Expect plenty of street food choices, including gourmet burgers and pies, mac and cheese, Thai and Indian curries, falafel wraps, sushi and much more. Regular traders will include Lovett Pies, Ah Ma Dumplings, Low n Slow, For Mice and Men, Bordeaux Quay Bakery, South Street Kitchen, Jacob’s Finest Falafel and Niang’s Thai Snacks.
The new venture is a collaboration between Cubex, the Bristol-based developers of Finzels Reach and CASUS Events, who will run the market, which will take place every Friday lunchtime.
