Perfectly timed to coincide with Valentine’s week, the Bristol Cider Shop are hosting an event that all single cider fans will love: cider dating.
The evening, which begins at 7.30pm on Friday, February 17th, combines cider tasting with speed dating: 5 minutes with up to 10 different dates, trying a different award-winning cider with each one.
As the Bristol Cider Shop team say, “After 5 minutes you move onto the next cider – and the next date. So not only is it more fun than normal speed dating but you’ve got twice the chance of finding someone/ something you like :)”
The event is designed for those aged in their 30s to 40s, with places available for 10 men and 10 women. They apologise for having to narrow it down to a specific age group and to heterosexual pairings only, but promise that if it goes well, they’ll run more events in the future for everyone else…
Tickets for the evening are priced at £20 per head, which include meeting up to 10 dates (who you’ll already know you have something in common with!), tasting 10 award-winning ciders and perries, and nibbles to help the cider go down.
The event runs from 7.30pm to 9.30pm at the Southbank Club, and (with your permission), details of any successful matches will be emailed to you after the event. Be quick – there’s a limited number of tickets available!
