Saturday, December 3rd will see the official launch of Wapping Wharf‘s Cargo, with a giant ribbon cutting and Christmas celebrations.
Retailers at the shipping container development behind M Shed will be extending their wares onto their terraces; ramping up the festive cheer with a Christmas tree forest from the Mighty Quinns Flower Emporium and mulled cider and warming port from the Bristol Cider Shop and Corks at Cargo.
Those who visit this Saturday will find outdoor cooking at Pigsty and a pudding bar at BOX-E, along with lots of tasty food to eat in or take away at Lovett Pies, Woky Ko and Chicken Shed. Shambarber will have the clippers at the ready to spruce people up in time for Christmas party season.
The festivities will also continue up the Gaol Ferry Steps – where the trees have been lit with fairy lights – with seasonal pizza toppings at Bertha’s Pizza; mince pies and mulled wine at Better Food; and festive drinks and beer at Little Victories and the Wild Beer Company.
The event will take place from 12pm to 6pm, and visitors will have the chance to win a prize from every Cargo venue. There will also be an award given to the person sporting the most spectacular Christmas jumper or outfit…
