Bigger and better than ever before, the 2016 Harbourside Christmas Market will run across three weekends (3rd-4th, 10th-11th, 17th-18th) this December in the centre of Bristol.
While previous years have seen the Harbourside Market run its Christmas Markets in Millennium Square, this year they’re sticking with their regular home in central Bristol. The Covered Walkway will remain open, and the Market will expand to take over the area by the Cascade Fountains, creating a miniature Christmas Village in the heart of the city.
The Covered Walkway by the Waterfront will be home to a forty-five-stall Makers’ Market (11am – 5pm) for the city’s brightest creative sparks. There’ll be plenty of mulled wine, festive decorations and music throughout, along with plenty of Christmas shopping opportunities.
The popular weekend Street Food Market (11am – 7pm) is moving up to the fountains at the top of the Cascade Steps, where visitors will be invited to settle themselves in a cosy covered seating area, and enjoy live music and a bar serving winter-themed drinks.
