The Huntsman Supper on November 18th is the next event in the Backwell Banquet series. Guest chef, Andy Spooner of The Full Spoon, will be cooking four courses of traditional England hunting season fare. The menu will feature regional game including pheasant, venison and Blagdon trout – all accompanied by winter libations.
They say: “Winter’s coming, so let the warmth envelop you as the heavy wooden door closes, shutting out the bitter England frost. Let the curl of wood smoke, the bubble of braise and the crackle of the fire sing to your inner hunter-gatherer, who pioneered the purest form of sustainable eating.”
