This September, Argentine steakhouse CAU Restaurants, located on Clifton’s Queens Road, have launched a brand new set menu. Available from Monday to Friday, 12pm to 6:30pm, diners will be able to enjoy CAU’s contemporary Buenos Aires-inspired cuisine for £10.95 for two courses, and three courses at £12.95.
The all-new set menu will offer a wide range of CAU’s favourite dishes, as well as a host of new dishes to be tried. It’s a great choice for a business lunch, a pre-theatre meal or a catch-up with friends.
Starters include Fish Tacos: crispy battered pollock served on blue tortillas with a smoky chipotle mayo. There’s also CAU’s crispy classic Salt & Pepper Squid and more.
For the mains, choose from the newly returned Aubergine Lasagne: aubergine replacing the pasta, and layered with tomato, melted cheese and fresh basil. For something meatier, there’s the Tapa De Cuadril (pictured): a 220g Brazilian cut that’s thinly sliced and flash grilled for a melt in the mouth texture. Side dishes that can be ordered alongside the mains include Thin or Chunky Chips, Truffle Mac N Cheese, or Polenta.
Those with a sweet-tooth can opt for the famous Pina-CAU-lada or indulge in the Dulce de Leche pancakes with vanilla ice cream and caramel to round off the meal.
