If you’re in the Broadmead area on Thursday, September 15th, head over for a #TasteofSingapore event that’s being hosted to celebrate the launch of the Great Singapore Airlines’ Getaway campaign.
Singapore Airlines and the Singapore Tourism Board will be bringing Chef Anthony Yeoh to the UK for the event, at which he’ll be introducing Roti Jala: a popular dinner snack that’s served with curry. These delicate, lace-like pancakes literally translate to “net bread”, and symbolise the cultural threads that tie the multicultural Singapore together. They’re served dipped in curry, and will be cooked up by Chef Yeoh – head chef at Singapore’s Cocotte restaurant – on the day.
The Singapore Airlines team will also be offering promotional fares and perks to travellers, as well as giving them the chance to win prizes – including a pair of Suites or First Class tickets to the destination of the winner’s choice, as well as a weekly draw for reimbursement of flights already booked during the promotional period. You’ll also be able to meet the Singapore Girls cabin crew, as well as enjoying the in-flight and destination backdrops in the photo booth.
