The Ivy: Opening in Clifton on August 2nd

Spread the love

We’ve all heard of The Ivy – a longstanding popular celebrity haunt in London. Now, the first of The Ivy Collection’s restaurants outside of London – The Ivy Clifton Brasserie – is set to open on Tuesday, August 2nd.

Located at 42-44 Caledonia Place, the former home of NatWest bank, the restaurant will offer an all-day dining menus, will be open 7 days a week and will be able to seat around 130 people at a time. It’s aim is to offer “accessible, sophisticated all-day dining”. While booking is recommended, there will also be tables held back for walk-ins too.

The menus are already live on the website, and include breakfast, brunch, lunch, afternoon tea, light snacks and dinner, as well as an extensive cocktail menu of both classic and contemporary choices – some with Bristol names, such as the Poison Avon and The Clifton Royale.

With starters priced at roughly £6 to £12 and mains between £13.50 and £34, the price point seems to be pretty accessible, and we love the sound of the afternoon tea, priced at just £17.95 per head. Watch out for a review when it opens in August…
