On Saturday, June 18th from 12pm to 6pm, The Lido in Oakfield Place, Clifton will be hosting a family street party to help to raise £20,000 for Bristol’s local hospital charity, Above & Beyond.
The charity raises funds for all nine of Bristol’s city centre hospitals, investing around £3 million each year in projects that make a real difference to patient care.
This one-off event will see plenty of food and drink stalls lining the street, including Three Brothers Burgers, The Peace Café and Mevalco as well as a hog roast, paella and more from Lido chef Freddy Bird. There will also be live music throughout the afternoon and entry is completely free.
As part of this one-off event, families will also be able to enjoy a swim at the Lido (booked in advance) for a small fee with all proceeds helping to fund a new sensory bathroom for the Neuroscience Ward at the Bristol Royal Hospital for Children.
