Wild Beer Co will be making its first foray into Bristol this summer with the opening of a new restaurant and craft beer bar at Wapping Wharf.
Wild Beer Co will occupy the 1960 sq ft glass-fronted, corner unit closest to the water along Gaol Ferry Steps, the newly opened route running through Wapping Wharf. It’s the second site for the Somerset-based brewer, after their existing restaurant and craft beer bar in Cheltenham.
Rich Kilpatrick, managing director of Wild Beer Bars, said: “We are incredibly excited to be getting our hands on our first Bristol site and Wapping Wharf is the perfect fit! We intend to create a unique eating and drinking experience where you’ll feel both comfortable and engaged, with a creative interior and an external terrace perfect for waterfront alfresco dining. When open, we will be pouring both our own great range of beers as well as others from some of our best brewing friends, both at home and abroad. Food will play a big part in what we do at Wapping Wharf; flavour and taste lead everything we produce. At the Wild Beer Co we are as passionate about food as we are about beer. Talk of food and flavour starts and finishes each day at the brewery. We want the food at Wapping Wharf to reflect our passion and our love of creative cooking and great flavours.”
The new Wild Beer Co venue adds to the great food and drink businesses already confirmed for Wapping Wharf: Better Food Company, Little Victories, Mokoko and Bristol Cider Shop, as well as Pizzarova, whose crate is already up and running.
