Michelin-starred chef Josh Eggleton has teamed up with Bedminster furniture specialists Kustom Floors and Furniture and local wine and spirit experts Corks of North Street to create a once in a lifetime breakfast experience for 40 lucky diners in Bedminster, on Saturday 7th May.
Part of Breakfast in Bedminster, the event, which will take place in the Kustom showroom, will see the diners sat comfortably in bed enjoying a three-course breakfast cooked by Josh and his team and served with English sparkling wine.
Josh Eggleton explains; “I really like the vibe in Bedminster and wanted to support a couple of local businesses and do something a bit different as part of their pop-up events. I hope people will make an effort to wear their very best or worst pyjamas and head out into the area for a morning filled with local produce and great cuisine in the restaurants, cafés and even furniture shops.”
The menu will be inspired by Josh’s own favourite breakfasts and will include both sweet and savoury dishes. There are 40 exclusive tickets available for this event, priced at £25 each, but there is one stipulation…diners must come in their nighttime attire, dressing gowns and slippers.
Those who don’t manage to secure tickets will be able to pop in for a cuppa from Wogan Coffee and a chat around the kitchen table to check out proceedings in the morning. The team will be making frothy coffees and teas for donations to local charities.
Breakfast in bed with Josh Eggleton will take place at 10am on the 7th May 2016 at Kustom Floors and Furniture, Bedminster. Tickets can be purchased via this link.
