This May, The Yoga Brunch Club is collaborating with ASIA POP! to bring its popular Brixton-based pop-up to The Forge in Colston Yard on Sunday May 8th. The afternoon will combine an all-levels dynamic and relaxing yoga class set to a playlist of laid-back tunes with post-yoga seasonal smoothies and a Sunday Brunch with an Asian twist cooked up by ASIA POP!.
Clem Balfour founded The Yoga Brunch Club in 2014, and has been running monthly events ever since. The aim is to create a space for people to relax and not take themselves too seriously. While yoga can often be intimidating for beginners, YBC ‘s classes aim to be fun, flowing and playful. Food is a key part of the experience: YBC collaborate with talented chefs and supper clubs for each event.
ASIA POP! was started by Ursula Hutchinson and friends Yoko and Sarah. Their mission was to bring authentic dishes from the East to the UK, taking their inspiration from Asian street food and food culture to create a unique culinary experience. For YBC, Ursula is putting together a special ‘ASIA POP! Wholesome’ menu as she believes that a long session of yoga should be followed through with a nutritious meal.
The Yoga Brunch Club will take place at The Forge, Colston Yard, with the afternoon’s timetable as follows:
1.00pm Yoga
2.15pm Post yoga seasonal smoothie
2.45pm Brunch served by ASIA POP!
4.00pm Close
Tickets for the event can be bought through the Foozie website.
