Local street food favourite Vee Double Moo has secured a new pitch on College Green, beginning on Sunday, March 20th. Owner Bridget Pilkington and her retro VW ice cream camper van will be at College Green every Saturday and Sunday throughout the spring and summer from 12 noon until 5pm.
Vee Double Moo reinvents softserve ice cream for Bristol, adding delicious homemade touches with locally-sourced ingredients. The vanilla softserve is matched with both contemporary and classic flavours – think salted caramel, fresh banana, fair trade chocolate, citrus curds, espresso coffee, local strawberries. You’ll also find plenty of old school sweet treats, such as marshmallows, Smarties and specially-mixed jumbo sprinkles.
Wherever possible, Bridget uses fair trade and local produce, while all of her sauces are homemade, using fair trade sugar, organic cocoa, fresh strawberries when in season and more.
Those who visit Vee Double Moo’s new regular pitch will be able to choose from cones, cups and sundaes, as well as a range of specials that will include ice cream sandwiches, affogati, dipped ice cream and various innovative sundaes.
