Everyone loves an Easter egg hunt…and there’s one happening in Bristol this March that isn’t just for children! From Friday March 11th to Friday March 25th, every day will see the team behind the Taste Chocolate Festival hiding bespoke artisan creations in venues across the city centre. On each day, clues will be shared on social media, with chocolate fans needing to follow the clues to find the egg. Once discovered, the winner must state a secret password (also revealed via social media) to claim their bespoke egg. What’s more, each egg will include a unique code that gives the winner and up to three guests entry to the Taste Chocolate Festival on March 26th or 27th – and one egg will include a Golden Ticket, winning the finder a chocolate hamper along with the egg they find on the day and their festival tickets.
Clues and updates will be found on Twitter at @TasteChocUK, Instagram at @taste.chocolate and Facebook.
The Taste Chocolate Festival itself will be back on Saturday 26th and Sunday 27th March and will be bigger and better than its debut year: you’ll find over 40 exhibitors showcasing chocolates, patisserie, cakes, donuts, wine, beer, liqueurs, fudge, churros, hot chocolate and more. There will also be a food and drink court with some of the city’s finest street food, a Prosecco bar and craft ale bar, a History of Chocolate exhibition and cookery demonstrations.
Taste Chocolate takes place from 10am – 5.00pm on Saturday 26th and Sunday 27th March 2016 on the Waterfront Square on Bristol’s Harbourside. For further information, visit the Taste Chocolate website. Entry is £4 on the day (subject to availability) or £3 in advance via the Taste Chocolate website (plus a 25p booking fee). Free entry for children under the age of 13.
