Casamia to open two new restaurants

Spread the love

Back in August, we shared the news that Casamia will be relocating to The General in Bristol’s city centre in January 2016. Now, the team have shared more exciting news – alongside the relocated Casamia restaurant, they’ll also be opening another two exciting venues – and have launched new website www.sanchez-brothers.co.uk which allows online bookings and shares news and information about all three venues in one place.

Ranked the fourth best restaurant in the UK by the Sunday Times, Casamia will be using its brand new waterside location to open two additional concepts: Paco Tapas and Pi Shop. All three will be accessible from Lower Guinea Street – and Peter Sanchez-Iglesias explains more:

“It is amazingly exciting for us to be able to let people know about our two new restaurants, Paco Tapas and Pi Shop. They will offer distinctly different options to guests, but in different ways both have been inspired by Casamia’s past. Whilst Casamia will continue to offer a fine dining experience, Paco Tapas and Pi Shop guests can expect to find a more casual place to eat, where you can grab a simple lunch or dinner made from the best ingredients around. We have also just launched our new Sanchez Brothers website, where you can find information on all three restaurants and have started taking online bookings for Casamia, so it’s an incredibly exciting time – we can’t wait for all three restaurants to be open!”

Pi Shop will be a new 40 seater pizzeria with an open plan kitchen and wood-fired oven, starring a simple and affordable menu of sourdough pizzas in a relaxed atmosphere. Open all day, seven days a week, there will also be one-of-a-kind ice cream on offer, and the restaurant will use local and seasonal produce where possible. It is expected to open in March 2016.

Paco Tapas, meanwhile, is named after Peter’s father – a vibrant and welcoming character whose personality will be reflected in the restaurant. The venue’s tapas menus will change constantly, and there will be an extensive sherry list alongside the food offering – the restaurant should open in April 2016.

Stay up to date with plans via www.sanchez-brothers.co.uk – it’s all very exciting!
