Pinkmans Bakery

Now open in the former home of the short-lived The Flavour Sensation at 85 Park Street is Pinkmans Bakery, which opened for its soft launch at 12pm on Friday, December 4th.

First and foremost, as you’d expect from the name, Pinkmans is a bakery: everything they serve is made freshly on the premises, and you can see the bakers hard at work in full view of the customers. On the bread front, customers can expect a wide range of options, including white sourdough, tin rye, baguettes, flutes, seeded sourdough and more.

Independently owned by Steven Whibley and Troels Bendix, Pinkmans is open from 7am to 11pm. Diners can enjoy a brunch menu from 7am to 3pm, as well as enjoying a range of slow fermentation breads, sourdough pizza from their wood oven (either by the slice or whole), cakes and tarts, sourdoughnuts, sandwiches, salads and slow roast meats. When it comes to drinks, you’ll find teas, coffees and freshly squeezed juices, as well as a range of wines, beers and cocktails. A full menu can be seen on the Pinkmans Bakery website.

Service for food orders is cafeteria style – simply choose what you’d like and order at the counter. There’s space for 70 people to dine in, or alternatively everything can be ordered to take away – the prices are the same for both options.
