Spread the love

Love Food Festival

When? Sunday 25th October

Where? Paintworks, Bath Rd, Bristol

What time? 10.30am – 4pm, FREE ENTRY

Love Food Festival returns to Paintworks to celebrate autumn and welcome in the winter months.

The seasons are changing and Love Food Festival is back, offering visitors the perfect opportunity to get together with their local community, indulge in autumnal comfort food.

Grab yourself a cup of mulled cider or cup of chai, and have a wander through the fabulous producer stalls. Chat to the makers and stock up on top produce, including cheeses from Bath Soft Cheese, charcuterie from Somerset Charcuterie, seasonal products from Field and Kitchen, delicious Spanish deli items, and Ginger Beards Preserves. You can buy everything you need to see you through as the long nights start to draw in.

There will be plenty to keep the little ones entertained as usual. Autumn craft activities will be on offer. The National Trust will be offering apple pressing, so if you have a glut of fresh British apples at home or you know someone that does, bring them to the festival along with a bottle and turn them into juice to take home with you. And seasonal chef and Food and Farming Award winner, Jo Ingleby will be running workshops to show us how to cook up a storm with healthy, seasonal produce.

Visitors will be spoilt for choice when it comes to the street food on offer. Delicious parcels from Ah Ma’s Dumplings, incredible sausage rolls from Little Jack Horners, burgers from Burger Theory, and all things Indian from Gopal’s Curry Shack…not to mention the doughnuts, ice cream, cake and more for dessert.

Commenting, Love Food Festival founder Lorna Knapman said: “Autumn is a beautiful time of year and what better way to celebrate than with an autumn extravaganza, bringing together all the things we love about the season. We look forward to welcoming visitors and enjoying seasonal produce at its best to prepare us for the cold winter months ahead.”
