This all-purpose baking mix was launched alongside her first ever cookbook, entitled “101 Delicious Bisquick Creations”. In the 1940s, the first Betty Crocker cake mixes hit the shelves in the US, and the brand has continued to grow throughout the 20th and 21st centuries.
The Betty Crocker brand has changed somewhat since it began, expanding to include a wide range of additional cake, brownie and cupcake mixes, as well as icing and sprinkles to make baking and decorating at home even easier.
