Clifton FoodFest returns to the area this 5th – 21st June, celebrating the incredible restaurants, producers, cafes and delis in the area with a whole day of tastings on 6th June.

For two weeks, cafes, pubs and restaurants will each offer £10 deals for both lunch and evening eating with participants including Wallfish Bistro, Arch House Deli, Primrose Cafe, Rosemarino and Fishers. The initiative is designed to encourage diners and shoppers to discover new restaurants in the area, which is one of Bristol’s most historic and picturesque places.

Some of the offers available throughout the Clifton FoodFest include a cream tea for 2 for £10 at The Farm, 2 courses for £10 at Noa, and a special gourmet footlong hot dog plus ice cream dessert at the Clifton Sausage, also for £10.

Taste of Clifton Day will take place throughout the day on 6th June, giving visitors the chance to sample wine, dishes, produce and handmade foods on Boyces Avenue, Kings Road and in The Clifton Arcade. Businesses across the Village will venture onto the pavements of Clifton to showcase their food and drinks.

Richard Davis of DBM Wines and BID board member explains: “Clifton has a huge number of food businesses from fine dining restaurants and pizzerias, through to some of the best breakfast spots in the city and pavement cafes. We’ve invited all of the independent retailers and businesses to get involved with the project so people can meet the community of Clifton and get a taste of shopping independently in the area year round.”

The whole list of businesses participating can be found on www.discoverclifton.co.uk or follow @CliftonVillage for regular updates on FoodFest.
