Famous for bringing craft beer to the masses, the UK’s sell-out beer festival, Craft Beer Rising is launching its first cider event in Bristol this summer.

Taking place at The Trinity Centre on the 24th and 25th July, over 200 artisanal ciders from 40+ producers will be on offer at Cider House Rising. There will be three sessions over two days of cider drinking and tasting set against a backdrop of sizzling street food and a cracking line up of music.

As with all Craft Beer Rising events, each ticket will include a Cider House Rising glass, a programme followed by the opportunity to work your way around and meet the producers behind each pint.

Craft beer fans won’t miss out either with plenty of the Craft Beer Rising beer favourites on board.

Already confirmed is a Bristol-friendly music line up including Prince Fatty & MC Horseman, the legendary Don Letts, Portishead sample digger Andy Smith, king of the beats DJ Format and Boca 45 with more to be announced.

A foodie feast will be supplied by Burger Bear, Little Jack Horners, The Whole Cheese and Meat Merchants and more.

Co-founder of Craft Beer Rising, Daniel Rowntree said: “Our Craft Beer Rising festival and now Cider House Rising exist for one simple reason – to bring great beer and cider to the masses.

“Our events bring a modern slant to beer and cider drinking and as such provide entertainment alongside insight into the rise of this growing industry.

“We’ve always had cider represented at our Craft Beer Rising events and believe that given the growth and increased interest in the cider market, it’s time that cider was given a more prominent position in our festival. Launching it in the West Country was a no-brainer!”

Tickets are available from http://craftbeerrising.co.uk for £12 per session and include a Craft Cider Rising glass and a festival programme.

Sessions:
· Friday 24th July: 6pm – 1am
· Saturday 25th July: 11am – 5:30pm & 6:30pm – 1am
