With just over 2 weeks to go until their annual cider and sausage festival, Bristol Cider Shop is looking forward to their biggest event yet. This year sees a change of venue to the Trinity Centre and collaboration with Bristol Festival Community Group (the team behind Brisfest) who are organising the music.
Demand for tickets has been very high and the Saturday afternoon session is already sold out. There are still tickets available for Saturday evening and Sunday afternoon/ evening on the shop’s website at www.bristolcidershop.co.uk.
The organisers are now on the hunt for the best sausages in Bristol to go onto the BBQ and are asking for public’s help. Pete Snowman said “We’re looking for people to tell us where they get their favourite sausages. We’ve got the best cider in the West Country and we want the best sausages to go with it!”
Anyone who would like to nominate their favourite sausage should get in touch via the shop’s website. They are looking for both meat and vegetarian options. They are also looking for volunteers to help at the festival and have a couple of slots left for bands that are interested in playing.
The Cider and Sausage Festival takes place on Saturday 2nd and Sunday 3rd May at The Trinity Centre and features over 50 varieties of the new season’s best cider and perry, a cider-themed barbeque and cider-fuelled music.
