For many people who enjoy going out to eat, the thought of a delivery service that offers freshly cooked food from their favourite restaurants is a dream come true. And with Deliveroo launching in Bristol on Monday, March 30th, that dream is set to become a reality.
Deliveroo partners exclusively with good quality restaurants, delivering their food to both homes and offices in the local area. The brand was first launched in February 2013 in London: the founder moved to London from New York and couldn’t understand why there weren’t more top quality delivery options in the city. In order to make this possible, Deliveroo was founded: and the business now completes, on average, 3,000 orders per day in central London, delivering food from top quality brands such as Honest Burger, Soho House, Gaucho, Patty & Bun and others.
On Monday, March 30th, the Deliveroo service will go live in Bristol, after months of work securing partnerships with great Bristol food and drink venues. The service will launch with no fewer than 22 Bristol dining venues (a number which is set to grow over time), with the launch list consisting of:
- Planet Pizza
- Tampopo
- Chomp
- Bagel Boy
- Mission Burrito
- GBK
- The Burger Joint
- Wildwood
- Plead the 5th
- Three Brothers Burgers
- Rocotillos
- Chai Shai Kitchen
- Casa Mexicana
- Carluccios
- Cathay Rendezvous
- The Mint Room
- Fishers
- Fuego
- Biblos On The Hill
- Beerd
- Cedar
- 4500 Miles From Delhi
Food will be available to order online from these restaurants, and will be delivered directly to your venue of choice – in London, the average delivery time is 32 minutes, and the Deliveroo team are aiming for the same level of service in Bristol. The minimum order for the flat rate delivery fee of £2.50 per order is £15 – you can order less, but this will incur an additional fee of £2 per delivery.
With so many great restaurant options already on board and with such a successful story in London under their belts, I’m excited about the fact that Deliveroo are coming to Bristol – visit deliveroo.co.uk for more information!
I would like to make a complaint about one of your motor cyclists. This morning in Kingswood a biker – Reg WR65 ZBO – was driving erratically, darting in and out of cars and overtaking in very dangerous circumstances in a very busy street.
He then entered into a garage in Kingswood.
