Pizza lovers in Bristol may be interested in the opening of a new PizzaExpress at Cabot Circus. The new restaurant, which can seat 149, means jobs for 36 new team members including 10 pizzaiolos and 18 waiters and waitresses. An estimated 1,500 kilos of dough will be used in the first month as the team prepares to serve up 5,000 pizzas and 2,500 portions of PizzaExpress’ iconic Dough Balls.
Each PizzaExpress restaurant is individually designed – often using well known places, people or historical events from the area as the basis. The design at Cabot Circus has been influenced by the Bristol International Balloon Fiesta, held in the city since 1979, and large fret cut balloons suspended across the restaurant appear to float seamlessly from one side to the other.
Amy Morgan, manager of PizzaExpress Cabot Circus, said, “The new restaurant looks fantastic and we hope our new customers love it as much as we do.”
For younger pizza-lovers, PizzaExpress’ Piccolo menu is full of choices including ‘Create Your Own’ pizza, and starts at just £3.50.
