The Urban Standard to open The North Street Standard in March/April

Spread the love

There’s no denying that Bedminster’s North Street has two ends: one thriving, one not so great. The not-so-great end, however, has seen an influx of businesses over the last few years that are slowly beginning to smarten it up – businesses such as Corks of North Street, The Hare, The Steam Crane and others.

As of the end of March/beginning of April, drinkers and diners alike will have a new place to visit in the form of The North Street Standard, whose planning application for 11-13 North Street (formerly the home of Zero Cycles) has been accepted. The name may sound slightly familiar…and that’s because The North Street Standard will be owned and run by the same team as The Urban Standard on Gloucester Road.

With their first south of the river opening comes the promise of being “like The Urban Standard but brighter and welcoming for day trade”. With the keys in their hands from the week commencing January 19th, you can follow @Northststandard on Twitter to stay up-to-date with their progress…
