Strawberry Thief: New café bar coming to the city centre this October

Spread the love

Here in Bristol, we’ve seen plenty of beery places open in recent years, and now we have another to add to the list. New modern European café bar Strawberry Thief will be opening on Broad Street in the city centre this October, and will be specialising in Belgian beers.

There’s not a huge amount of information about Strawberry Thief available as yet, although their Facebook page confirms that they will be offering food alongside a selection of wines, spirits and the aforementioned beers.

The premises, which has been vacant for several years, was formerly home to Chinese restaurant Tatyans, and is located next to the Palestinian Embassy. Previously displaying posters in the window announcing the opening of a bar named Brugge, the owners have evidently decided that a change of name was in order.

To stay up-to-date with Strawberry Thief’s progress, find them on Facebook or follow them on Twitter at @strawbthief.
