Free this weekend? Cider lover? Head down to the Ashton Gate Stadium, where you’ll find cider and plenty more to keep you entertained this weekend.
The Bristol Cider Festival will feature over 80 different ciders and perries for you to try, with a fully licenced bar selling spirits and other non-cidery drinks for those who aren’t fans. There are three different sessions – Friday evening, Saturday daytime and Saturday evening – which will all feature live music, along with a best dressed country attire competition with cider prizes. Local cider suppliers will be present, offering exclusive deals, and you’ll also find vintage stalls, a vintage sweet shop and savoury food in the form of bread and cheese, a hog roast, sausages and more.
Tickets for the Friday or Saturday night will set you back ÂŁ7 each, while Saturday daytime tickets are priced at ÂŁ6. Each ticket also includes a free drink. Tickets are available online by clicking here – you’ll be able to collect your ticket on the day of your visit. Places are apparently limited, so the organisers recommend that you book in advance…
