You may have seen my recent post about new business Luigi’s Italian Takeaway taking over the former Warren’s Gourmet Burger Company premises in St Anne’s. Warren’s rose to Bristolian fame thanks to its eating challenges, including “The Beast” and “The Chilli Dog Of Doom“, and took home the Best Burger award at the 2012 Bristol Good Food Awards.
While it was a shame to hear that Tom Warren’s burger joint had closed, he’s still very much in the food industry, focusing now on catering business Warren’s Gourmet Catering.
Says Tom, “When most people think of event catering, they think it will cost the earth and be drab and boring. I’m trying to change this.”
For Tom, it’s important that his food is freshly prepared from scratch and yet still affordable and exciting. His latest venture offers a wide range of different catering options for all manner of events, including weddings, gala evenings and more.
Full banquet sit down meals are priced at just £12.50 per head, with completely homemade buffets for £3.95 per head. Hot knife and fork buffets cost £5.95 per person, while Tom also offers Thatchers cider-soaked hog roasts with homemade sides at £650 for 100 people. He also offers gourmet barbecues for any type of event, with prices available on application. And his food looks pretty impressive too…
In addition to the food side of things, Tom also offers wedding packages which include marquee hire and decorating, catering and full DJ and entertainments at hugely reduced rates.
