BBQ is big news in Bristol at the moment – and we’re about to see another BBQ venue launch into the mix. Spitfire Barbecue, the brainchild of Billy Steyn, is set to open in the old Jacks Brasserie premises on Hannover Quay on Saturday, June 28th.
The new venue will be open from 9am until 11pm, Monday to Sunday, with Big Joe (their barbecue) ready to cook up a range of top quality West Country meats for their customers. They’ll be using lump wood charcoal plus a variety of wood chips for flavouring – there’s no menu available yet, but you can see photos of some of their meaty dishes on their Facebook page.
They’ll also be serving a range of beers and ciders, along with cocktails – for which they’ve bought a smoke gun, which is intriguing!
