Somerset farmer and current BBC Food & Farming awards finalist, Luke Hasell, is opening a new butcher’s shop in Blagdon. Following on from his massive success with The Story and as a partner in Eat Drink Bristol Fashion, Luke is opening his shop in Blagdon on Wednesday, April 16th.
Blagdon Butchers dates back to the early 1900’s but Luke and his skilled team will be bringing it right bang up to date with local sourcing, organic & grass-fed meat, a deli and Story organic meat deliveries all on offer.
Luke said of the opening “It just seemed the next natural step for me. I want the local people of Blagdon and surrounding areas to know where their meat comes from and have great choice locally. We really care about sourcing and animal welfare, supplying both British organic and non organic meat. Customers can now purchase the same meat that I supply to The Better Food Company or The Pony and Trap.”
