Fanny & Johnnie Cradock are looking for namesakes to wine & dine on Valentine’s Day. Show Of Strength’s 5 star dinner theatre show returns to Southville’s Hen & Chicken for Valentine’s weekend, and the Cradocks want a couple to celebrate with.

Fanny Cradock said, ‘When Johnnie and I met it was love at first sight. We’ve been together ever since, and now we want to share our big romance with the dear people of Bristol on Valentine’s Day. We’re appearing at the fabulous Hen & Chicken in Southville, and if we can find a couple called Fanny & Johnnie we’ll offer them complimentary seats for the show, a 2 course meal, a bottle of bubbly and the VIP treatment.’

Johnnie Cradock added, ‘She’s right. She usually is.’

So if that’s you, Fanny & Johnnie, (and you can prove it), Show Of Strength Theatre Company wants to hear from you. Email info@showofstrength.org.uk.

Following sell-out shows in 2012, the show featured on BBC2’s The Hairy Bikers and returns in 2014 to serve up a feast of entertainment. Join the famous duo as they demonstrate, argue, sing, namedrop, insult, parlez dodgy Français and summon up a few ghosts to tell their fascinating story. Well-known jazz singer Kate McNab (Fanny) also performs with her own company The Ministry of Entertainment. Actor, singer and musical director John Telfer (Johnnie) was a regular in Bergerac and is currently the Vicar of Ambridge in Radio 4’s The Archers.

Fanny & Johnnie Cradock cook up a storm in their sell-out dinner theatre show. Diners enjoy a two-course meal a la Cradock, featuring Fanny’s signature ‘prawn cocktail’ dish and a classic chicken dish (vegetarian options available), hilariously demonstrated by Fanny before it’s served, with a bit of help from the audience and regular bursts of song assisted by Johnnie at the piano.
