On Saturday 14 December Mullion Cove, local biscuit bakers and event organisers, will be collaborating with Brunel’s ss Great Britain on a new venture to create a special outdoor Christmas market for one day only.
A select group of the finest local food producers and crafts people will come together to bring the sights, sounds and smells of the festive season to Brunel Square – located outside the iconic visitor attraction in Bristol.
Stalls will be festively dressed, selling unique Christmas presents made by local food producers and crafts people; including jewellery, art, cider, chilli sauces, Christmas cakes and puddings, fudge and pies.
For extra indulgence there will be mulled wine and cider, as well as a delicious hog roast. Plus Brunel’s ss Great Britain’s Dockyard Cafe Bar will also be serving hot food – the perfect accompaniment to stunning harbourside views.
Gary Hall, ss Great Britain Trust’s Head of Catering and Events, said:
“This is a great opportunity to bring the festive spirit to Brunel Square. When Bristol Harbour Festival rolls into the same space in the summer the atmosphere is amazing, so we’re hoping to recreate that feeling in the lead up to Christmas this December.”
