So…Swinky Sweets is no more, but there’s a brand new business opening in late August/early September to take its place at 20 Park Street.
The Tea Birds is the brainchild of best friends Anna and Jodie, who both grew up around the Bristol area before going to UWE together. They’ll be opening The Tea Birds at the end of August or start of September as an independent vintage tea room, offering fine loose teas, quality coffees, homebaked goods, cupcakes, sandwiches, and – the bit I’m most excited about – afternoon teas, including a savoury option!
They’ll be using local suppliers for their tea and coffee, as well as Hobbs House Bread for their sandwiches.
