Bristol chef Josh Eggleton and his partners at Eat Drink Events have announced a series of organic summer Sunday lunches to be served from their new café, Yurt Lush, in the heart of Bristol.
Located in Temple Quay’s Creative Common, the team behind popular festival Eat Drink Bristol Fashion will be offering their renowned organic Sunday lunches to support Mayor George Ferguson’s “Make Sunday Special” campaign.
For £20 a ticket, each diner will be treated to a 2 course meal including a Sunday roast with all the trimmings and a dessert. A complimentary amuse-bouche will also be served to start.
Using local produce sourced sustainably in the Chew Valley, the lunches will serve organically reared meat from The Story Group and organic vegetables grown by The Community Farm. Assuring a very high standard of food, Matt Holgate, former Senior Sous Chef at The Pony & Trap, will join Josh in the kitchen for these very special events.
There will be four lunch dates in total with space for 105 diners each day. Sittings will be limited to 35 a time at 12pm, 1pm, and 2pm.
Each diner will have a choice of meat or a vegetarian option.
