Date: Thursday 23rd May 2013

Time: Cocktails at 7.30pm, entertainment begins at 8.00 pm

Venue: Harveys Cellars, Denmark Street, Bristol

A stunning burlesque performance by local showgirl troupe, The Flaming Feathers, headlines an evening of thrilling entertainment at Harveys Cellars in aid of Bristol Rugby Community Foundation.

The luxurious sherry, wine and cocktail lounge in the heart of Bristol’s theatre district, is bringing a trio of top local entertainment for guests, hosted by burlesque heroine, Rio Wild of Rio Wild Presents.

On Harveys’ ‘menu’ is top table magician Darren Campbell, who was recently voted UK Wedding Entertainer of the Year 2012 and mesmerising belly dancer, Pearl Boheme.

Harveys Cellars’ new head chef, Chris Solomon, will also be delighting guests, serving a delicious three-course Latino feast designed to complement the glamorous yet sophisticated evening. Guests looking for VIP treatment are also catered for with tickets available for seating in the Cellars’ Music Room.

Rio Wild of Rio Wild Presents says: “I am thrilled to be collaborating with Harveys Cellars for its first burlesque event to raise money for a very worthy cause.”

Rio added: “Dinner and a show should be done with class and style in fabulous surroundings and this will be a feast for all the senses! The evening will offer all of the above and more.”

Money raised from tickets sales and a silent auction on the night will be donated to Bristol Rugby Community Foundation, which engages with and educates around 18,000 young people in the city every year.

The foundation team work with some of the most disaffected young people in Bristol, to help them make positive and informed choices in their lives.

Auction lots will include signed Bristol Rugby F.C. memorabilia and some exclusive Harveys Cellars sherry flights and a cocktail masterclass. Sponsor Courvoisier Brandy has also donated bottles of its world-renowned cognac.

Claire Judd, General Manager at Harveys Cellars said: “We are very excited to be hosting this feast of food and glamorous entertainment, and our first-ever burlesque show. The Bristol Rugby Community Foundation is a truly invaluable charity and we hope the people of Bristol will join us and help raise money to support the excellent work it does.

Tickets to this spectacular event cost just £55 (VIP seats in the Music Room) or £45 (seated in the restaurant) and includes the three-course dinner.
