Great news for craft beer fans…the Bristol BrewDog bar is now officially open!
12pm on Saturday, October 27th saw the bar at 58 Baldwin Street (the old O’Briens sandwich shop) open its doors for the first time. Scottish craft brewery BrewDog (you may know them for their 32% “Tactical Nuclear Penguin“, the strongest beer ever brewed commercially) announced on Twitter that they would have 8 BrewDog and 4 guest beers on draught…including one from the newly launched local Wild Beer Co. Check out the picture they posted on Twitter this morning for the current BrewDog selection.
An odd location for something like this, maybe, but BrewDog’s opening has been eagerly anticipated by beer lovers since their plans were announced. Best of luck to the team!

Great news – I've always been tempted to order off their website but they can be upwards of £30 a bottle. Hopefully they'll be a bit more affordable in this shop.
And just round the corner from my office too!
£30 a bottle?! Seriously?!
