Congratulations to Bocabar, located in the Paintworks complex – on winning a 2012 Taste Of The West Award in the “Dining Pub” category! Bocabar was the only Bristol venue to receive an award in this category, thanks to its focus on local and seasonal menus.
A great way to try chef Janey’s menus is to go for one of their pizza specials, which change every month. Veggies and meat eaters are both catered for, with the veggie option priced at £11.95 and the meaty special at £13.95 – and October’s pizzas sound amazing!
Those interested in the veggie option can enjoy a combination of Applewood smoked Cheddar, a trio of mushrooms, drizzled Boca pesto and slithers of fresh fig. If you prefer your pizza more meaty, try their October special topping combo of Somerset Cheddar, Wiltshire ham and Bath Pig chorizo, scattered with sunblushed tomatoes and Dorset watercress.
Bocabar offer a new meat and vegetarian pizza special each month – if the above appeals, get in there before the end of October for a chance to enjoy it! 🙂
