Join the Love Food Festival team as they celebrate their love of food with this fun filled, spooktacular event at their colourful Paintworks home. There will be something for all ages to enjoy, including an indoor food market full of treats, a sensational line up of global street food, great childrenās activities, a well-stocked local bar, cafĆ©, music and a whole load of love!
This year they will be joined by local sculptors Hiatt Evans and Laurens Nockels who will be on hand to carve some truly amazing Jackāoālanterns, feel free to bring your own pumpkin with you or buy one of their gourds and pumpkins at the festival. With a fancy dress competition, toffee apple making made with a delicious foraged berry recipe, childrenās capoeira workshops led by āFilhos de Angolaā and arts and crafts tables to make bat-bunting, witches hats and ghoulish masks, children will be sure to go home happy.
In the courtyard the picnic area will be home to some warming and wonderful street food. Highlights include Ross and Ross who will be serving slow cooked lamb with home-made salsa verde, Churros Susannaās freshly made and crispy churros with a selection of chocolate dipping sauces, and the brand new Sciascionaās Italian sandwiches filled with thoughtfully selected ingredients. With hot apple cider, hand roasted artisan coffee and great sparkling English wines to wash it down with the Halloween Love Food Festival will be the perfect end of half-term treat.
