Warmley-based independent brewer Bath Ales is ‘launching’ a new beer, the aptly named Night Glow, at this year’s Bristol International Balloon Fiesta.
As proud sponsors of the Thursday Night Glow (9th August), Bath Ales is brewing Night Glow (4.2% ABV) exclusively for the fiesta, which has become one of the most popular occasions in the city’s event diary.
Beer lovers will be able to enjoy Night Glow at a Bath Ales outdoor bar while watching over 100 balloons taking part in this year’s event.
The Night Glow evenings have historically drawn some of the largest crowds to the fiesta. Around 30 balloons are tethered in the main arena and light up in sequence to music, creating a magical evening for visitors.
Commenting on the new sponsorship, Mark Harding sales director at Bath Ales, said: “We are absolutely delighted to be sponsors of such a prestigious and fun event. Adding our own touch to the proceedings with our Night Glow brew is hopefully going to give the fiesta the lift off it truly deserves.”
Bath Ales received the opportunity to sponsor the Bristol International Balloon Fiesta through its membership of the Balloon Fiesta 100 Club.

The Bristol International Balloon Fiesta is regarded as one of Europe’s largest annual Hot Air Balloon events and one of the UK’s top five outdoor events. Around 500,000 visitors are expected to attend this year’s event.
