Following on from the successful launch of the seasons.casamia concept, culinary geniuses Jonray and Peter Sanchez-Iglesias have introduced their new Summer menu at the Michelin-starred restaurant in Westbury-on-Trym: Casamia.
Jonray and Peter said: “We couldn’t be more excited to continue the seasons.casamia concept as for us it is all about embracing the amazing changes in our seasons and celebrating what they bring. We are keen to make the most of local produce and to integrate into our cooking truly seasonal ingredients when they are in their prime. It’s such a key element of working with food – seasonal produce is exciting and tastes so much better when it’s local and fresh. That’s the message at the heart of seasons.casamia”
Casamia is offering two new menus; one five course and one eight course. Dishes on the new summer menus include fresh tomato and mozzarella salad, BBQ Pork, dark chocolate with lavender, and strawberries with wild pea. Although Jonray and Peter have opted to celebrate traditional and seasonal ingredients, they continue to stimulate diners’ senses by using unusual flavour combinations, which continue to push the boundaries of gastronomic dining. Full menus can be seen on the Casamia website.
Despite the depressing weather outside, the summer season comes alive in the restaurant with stark beach photography, summer flowers, smells, sounds and other details that transform the overall ambience.
