Exciting news for the lovely Sophie at Mullion Cove, who’s been asked to create a bespoke, Olympic-style version of her fairings for none other than the Kenyan Olympic team, who have recently arrived in Bristol.
The traditional Cornish biscuits – decorated with Olympic-style rings – will act as a welcome gift for the athletes, who are training at UWE before heading to London for the Games themselves in a few weeks time.
In addition to the special Kenyan team fairings, Sophie will be creating fairings to be sold to the public that will celebrate the occasion, which will be on sale at her stall. You can find Sophie at the Whiteladies Road and Ashton Court markets – including a special Olympics-themed Ashton Court Market on August 5th.
Mullion Cove fairings come in various flavours including Original Ginger and Spice, Ginger and Oat, Cinnamon Sugar and seasonal flavours. They are sold online (www.mullioncove.net), at various Bristol outlets including Ruby and White and the Mall Deli, Clifton and on their market stall.
