Join the Bristol Cider Shop from 7pm on Thursday, June 14th for a gourmet tasting of the very best cider and perry in the West!
Bristol Cider Shop is holding a high-end cider tasting in the luxurious surroundings of The Milk Thistle. From single variety and Champagne-style ciders to cider brandy and cider cocktails, this is a cider tasting like no other! Add to that a mouth-watering selection of treats from The Milk Thistle’s new menu and you’ve got a West Country taste sensation.
The evening includes a tutored tasting of 10 different ciders and perries, and a buffet of local delicacies such as Scotch Quail Eggs, Castellano’s charcuterie and Trethowan’s Dairy cheeses. The event starts at 7.00pm, and will finish about 9.30pm. The Milk Thistle bar will be open before and after the tasting for specially-concocted cider cocktails.
Tickets (£20) are available now from Bristol Cider Shop (although numbers are limited and are expected to sell out quickly). This event forms part of the ‘food fringe’ for Big Green Week, which aims to showcase the quality and diversity of food and drink from the Bristol area.
