Back in September 2011, we wrote about brand new Bristol-based company Flavrbox – essentially an online farmers’ market helping independent producers from all over the country to list and sell products online directly to the consumer.
Flavrbox have now launched an exciting new service in the form of their monthly tasting box. As the guys behind the company say, it’s a great way of discovering new and exciting alternatives to big name brands that you may already purchase, with the added element of surprise – you won’t know what’s in the box until it arrives!
All boxes come with free delivery, and will be shipped out in the third week of every month via courier. In the box will be a selection of 5 or 6 products handpicked by the team, along with notes detailing the story behind the product, plus serving suggestions. Apparently they’ll also throw in some free gifts from time to time…
