Participating restaurants from all over Bristol will be running a series of fabulous offers, competitions and events for 80 days. The marketing campaign which features exclusive offers starts on Wednesday 18h January until Friday 6th April 2012 inclusive and will enable diners to take a ‘world wide foodie tour’ on their doorstep.

The campaign aims to help to fill restaurants at a traditionally quiet period of the year and encourages the public to take an active role. Full details of all offers & competitions, as well as restaurant and chef profiles, recipes and menus will be available on the campaign website www.80-days.co.uk.

The campaign invites the people of Bristol to get further acquainted with their local restaurant scene and try all manner of global dishes from the famous Brazilian feijoada at Real Brazil (Horfield) to sizzling stone pot Korean Bibimbap at Surakhan (Clifton).

Suzannah Ho, owner of three marvellous local independent restaurants – Dynasty & Zen Harbourside (Chinese), as well as Obento (Japanese), is really pleased to include Dynasty and Obento in the campaign.

“The start of the year is sometimes a quieter period for restaurants in Bristol, this campaign is a great idea and will promote all cuisine types to make dining out in spring 2012 affordable and exciting.”

Suzannah has some money saving offers at her restaurants as part of the 80 days campaign and will be hosting a special banquet at Dynasty on the 23rd January to celebrate Chinese New Year and the year of the Black Water Dragon.

A fantastic new Indian restaurant, Namaskar Lounge on Welshback is also proud to be taking part in the campaign.

Director, Aiub Xec (known as Altaf), said that he is “delighted to introduce Bristol to exemplary Indian cuisine and a top quality dining experience filled with spice, colour and splendour.”

Namaskar Lounge has recently received rave reviews and is well worth a visit.
