Have you ever wanted to own your own farm…?

Spread the love

Here’s your chance to become part of a community-owned organic farm in Chew Magna…

The Community Farm grows organic vegetables and runs a vegetable box scheme for people living in the Chew Valley, Bath and Bristol. With over 400 members already, it is now offering the chance for more people to get involved by investing in the next stages of development: to raise the funds for a new tractor, agricultural buildings and to start developing sustainable food education. This is a real chance to be part of a unique model of farming.

Writer, explorer and television presented Monty Halls, says about the farm: “What a wonderful idea! A bold and visionary scheme to reconnect with the way we have always grown our food. This is a local initiative that I feel could catch on throughout the country, and I know from personal experience that when you’ve invested that little bit of time and effort into the food you eat, it just tastes so much better.” He continued, “It’s not only fresh and sustainably farmed, but the consumer has that satisfaction of having been responsible for making it happen in the first place.”

The investment offer is open for a limited period until the 30th November 2011. For more information, visit www.thecommunityfarm.co.uk.

Spread the word and tell your friends, work colleagues and family about this unique opportunity to help shape the future of food production locally and in the UK.
