After a successful debut appearance at National Trust property Dyrham Park, Bristol’s Love Food Festival will be returning to its home at Paintworks on Sunday, 25th September…
Taking place between 10.30am and 4pm, entry to Love Food is free, giving you the chance to enjoy all of your favourite aspects of the festival and some new appearances for this autumn.
The Indoor Market will be full of local produce for you to try and buy, including artisan bread, cheese, local vegetables, cakes, fudge, chorizo, fruit, jam, sausage, beef, beauty products, local arts and crafts and more. If you want food to eat there rather than take away, then head to the Picnic Area, home to Thai food from Panasia, breakfast rolls and venison burgers from Cotswold Edge and jerk chicken from Agnes Spencer. Cider producer Dick Willows will be manning the bar, and The Great Cake Cafe will tempt you with organic teas and coffees and their range of delicious cakes.
New for this time around is the first Love Food Produce Swap – if you’re a home grower and have a glut of anything, bring it along on Sunday and swap with other local home growers…a great idea!
Last but not least, the Children’s Area will feature a story tent hosted by Michael Loader, a free children’s yoga session from Bristol City Yoga at 11.30, butter making classes with Michelle, sewing lessons from Itsy Do, face painting from Dotty Faces, gardening with Grow Grubby…something for everyone!
As always, it’s looking like it’ll be a fantastic occasion, whatever the weather, so make sure you spare an hour or two to head over…
