The Kingsdown address of 40 Alfred Place may be familiar to some as the former home of Alfred’s Cafe & Bistro, which sadly closed its doors earlier this year – and, prior to that, Portuguese restaurant A Cozinha. Exciting times appear to be ahead for the address (which has been rebranded as 40 Alfred Place), however – it’s now going to be used to house temporary “pop up” restaurants, of which Mi Casa are the first…
The Mi Casa team of Kristjan and Alexis already have several successful pop up ventures under their belts – you can see more details on their Facebook page. Their latest venture, a Cava bar at 40 Alfred Place, will be open between July 20th and 23rd, with availability limited.
“micasapopup cava bar will be a lo fi, informal drinking and eating experience”, say the pair. “It is not a replica of previous sit down events. The space will be mostly dedicated to standing, mingling, laughter and good times.”
Tapas will be served to the room over the course of each evening for £15 per head, and Cava, beer and wine will be available at the bar at competitive prices.
To book, email Kristjan and Alexis on micasapopup@gmail.com.
