A brand new cookbook for a great cause…help a team of Bristol-based accountants and investment managers from Smith & Williamson to raise funds for The Prince’s Trust by purchasing a copy (or more!) of recently published The Trusty Cookbook…
The SWEPT (Smith & Williamson Enterprise Project Team) consists of 12 S&W employees, who are putting into practice a variety of fundraising ideas as part of The Prince’s Trust 2011 Enterprise Challenge. The aim of the challenge is to raise £10,000 in total, all of which will be used to provide practical and financial support to those young people in the UK who need it most.
The Trusty Cookbook is one such fundraising idea from SWEPT, who approached a number of chefs and restaurants – both local and national – to persuade them to contribute a total of 43 recipes for the book. Divided into starters, mains and desserts, the book features contributions from some well-known chefs such as John Torode, Gregg Wallace and Paul Rankin…and also plenty of recipes from those closer to home in Bristol.
Local venues such as Casamia, Flinty Red, Rosemarino, Prosecco and The Albion have all contributed, and you can see a full list of recipes and contributors here.
Once you’ve had a look through the recipes and whetted your appetite, you can buy directly from The Trusty Cookbook’s website. It’s only £7.50 per copy (including postage and packaging), and it’s for a great cause. All you need to do is click here and enter your details (it’s a secure site) – it’s a small amount to contribute and you’ll benefit too! 🙂
